Vicar: The Reverend Paul Walker
The Vicar of Drighlington and Gildersome is Paul Walker. He has been here in the parish since July 2018, and is the first vicar of the newly formed benefice.
Paul has had a long and varied career in ministry, largely in Bradford (his home town), but most recently just down the road in Wortley and Farnley
He is a keen supporter of the Bradford Bulls, listens to prog rock music, reads avidly and enjoys solo boardgames.
Paul is married to Sandy (pictured) who is a licensed Church of England Reader and helps with preaching and leading worship
Curate: The Reverend June Cockburn
June is the most recent arrival to our benefice, having been ordained in October 2020.
June is from Bradford and was previously at Clayton Parish Church. Having completed her training at Mirfield, she has now joined our benefice as part of her training to eventually being a Vicar in her own church.
She is married to Eric and has grown up children. She lives in the Vicarage at Drighlington, but will be working across both churches in her time with us.
