Midweek worship returns to the benefice from the start of January 2021.

Join Paul and June EVERY Tuesday morning at 9.00 am for LIVE Morning Prayer, which will alternate between St Peters Gildersome and St Pauls Drighlington.

Read on for the details about how you can participate at home

We will be using the Church of England Common Worship Morning Prayer and the most effective way to have the words of the service is by using the Daily Prayer App.

The Daily Prayer App works on tablet or smartphone, and there are versions for Apple and Android available. There is a paid version with extra features BUT you don't need to get the paid version - the FREE version is perfectly adequate.

For convenience, links to the Apple and Android Store are provided below. Simply click the relevant button to be taken to the page where you can download the App.

Once you get Daily Prayer App onto your phone or tablet you will have everything you will ever need as the App will automatically open to the Daily prayer service for any given day. All of the readings, psalms, canticles and prayers will be right there in front of you on the screen. No page flipping required!

If you don't have a smartphone or tablet, or need that device to watch the service, then you can pull up the liturgy on any laptop or desktop computer on the Church of England Website.

The service will be live streamed on BOTH church Facebook pages AND YouTube simultaneously (thanks to very clever software that we've been learning!).

The Morning Prayer will happen EVERY Tuesday at 9.00 am, and will last about 15-20 minutes.

Please bear with us, we are using some new software and it will likely take us two or three weeks to get everything running smoothly.

That said, we very much look forward to praying with you and for you on Tuesday mornings.
